I was surprised to meet masa last night at our local short track series here in Baltimore. and damn was he happy to Finally be able to speak Japanese for change. Masa is a nation champion in japan. unfortunately he is riding a borrowed bike and did not do so well last night do to mechanical problems, but he has a few more chances to make up for it.
I have said this before, but its funny how for 1 time in my life I'm involved in something that has a huge base in my own back yard.
I grew up skating and wishing I could have born in California as a kid. funny hows things like that work.
