whole California thing I put off till next year is sounding sooo good
right now...

This is only fucking up my bike building plans...

Special tank

Jason (special79) has been working on this sporty tank for a while
now. It's Sectioned and narrowed and will have a deep tunnel to give
it an "xr" look. Just got some "in progress" pics from him. He does
reaaaaly good work. Check his YouTube videos and his Blog for more in
depth how to's and info. This tank is for an Xs street tracker that I
have been collecting parts for for a while now. Maybe a 2010 summer or
fall project. Should be nice.

Xs pipes

Stayed up late last night and finished up the pipes for this Xs.
Finish welding and tearing it back down for paint and powder is my
next 2 days.

Xs head pipes

Tacked in place. Now all I have to do is add the up sweeps and finish
weld.

One problem solved, just to make another.

Got my V&H sidewinder pipe today. It's great it sits off to the side
so you don't drag your pipes when your bike is slammed., however it
created a new problem. The front tire is WAY to close to the head
pipes now. I don't want to raise the forks back up because it's
sitting oh so nice right now... Do I have te to rake the front end!?

Fuck fuck fuck fuck

I had been saving this aris glass I have for 2 years. Finaly today I
got a nice clean headlight body to go with the nice clean glass. Had
it All taken apart and ready to give to the powder coaters tomorrow so
I can finish this damn Xs, well Just as I finished work tonight, at
1130 tonight.I turned on the air compressor so that I could blow off
all the dust and metal shavings and get clean. The compressor was
touching the shelf I had the light on. After a minute or so with the
vibration... You know the rest.
Fuck it I'm going to bed.

Surf was up!

Brian and I went out for A little while today. Great fun! I never
thought I would be surfing in January. My surf arms were not in shape
enough for head high waves and strong currents.
