Dear Friends,

I would like to announce that Shop Gentei will be closing at the end of this month. It's been a good 5 years, but creatively it's time for me to move on. I would like to thank you all for your support over the years. It has been a great ride, but don't think this is the end. As you all know, Cut Rate has become a driving force for me and I will continue to move it forward. With Cut-Rate we are moving in a direction that suits our individuality and creative aspirations on a real level. Shop Gentei: Often imitated, but will never be duplicated!

p.s. We will be having our very last in store flea market sale shortly after Christmas. Also, all remaining gear is on sale so come in and grab the good deals.

Indoor flattrack for a reason

First night of the annual timonium indoor flattrack series was last night. Not a huge turnout but all the regulars were there. Perfect timing too since yesterday was the first snowfall of the year,and the Streets were iced over too. Damn it's cold!!!

Bowling champs

We had a kind of "inter brand" bowl off last week. Cut-rate, Calee, backdrop, fuct, Larry smith silver, react leather, taikyo creative, and pound for pound.
Personally I rolled pretty good. (skee ball skills helped out I guess) but my team over all didn't do so well. I did win the boots in the picture below. Good times with friends is what it's all about fuck all the politics!

Yes I broke down and bought it. New old stock ALVA motorcycle jacket (made in the usa!!). If you know me, then you pretty much know that this is now one of my most prized possessions and it can be said that is is just about my childhood skate days personified. Go back 2 years and check the 2nd post on this blog.
