Midnight run...

Yesterday I bought a small trailer to haul my race bike around. Well
late last night I decied to take a run out to Hagerstown (about an
hour away from Baltimore) to pick up one bike and drop off another one
at curtis' machine shop. He is going to hardface my skid shoe and make
some spacers and whatnot for my GS. This weekend should be crazy
busy! 3 swap meets, dragracing, and flat track racing... What to do
what to do.!????

Doug's rd350 wheelie machine

Tim and I took turns lifting the front wheel yesterday. I can't
imagine riding one with race heads and pipes...

Gaia and Gentei

Gaia painted up the back wall in the shop yesterday. You should check
out some of his work on the street, or come in the shop.

Glens finger at the tittay bar.

New seat

The hard seatpan rigid mounted to the frame I was using was great but
my back just couldn't take it anymore. These Baltimore streets suck,
let me tell you. This seat looks great on the bike and feels like I'm
riding on pillows now.

Cut-Rate for no limit.

Stopped by no limit this AM to get my tires re-balanced. As always
crazy cars getting High dollar mods. Glad to see Tony wearing the
pocket t's I made up for them. Old school design for a new school
shop. I like that.

Forgot to post this last week.

MD chopper history.

went on a short day trip with earl today and visited his buddy paul. Paul is an old school dude and has a ton of cool shit in his garage. I mean A LOT of cool shit, for instance A LOT of panhead motors!, cheta' sissy bars, indians, shovels old tattoo pictures, gas tanks, fliers,...

panhead tins...

39 knuckle projects...

and even copies of 1973 custom chopper "the MD issue". to say he has a lot is an understatement.

it was so rad to see all the stuff in this mag. tom downey, hopps cycle salvage, dave for custom cycle. it was worth it almost getting bit by his giant attack dog, to get the radial laced 17 inch spool wheel I got for my xs long bike project. (pics of that later), today was one of them good days that happen every once in a while...

Sidecar Tommy and big John B.

one of tommy's r90's

Went over to Tommys yesterday and he was fixin up John baughman's
BMW./75 John is the artist/ tattoo artist that did the "piston
popperl" graphic for cut-rate last season. John is all about bikes,
hot rods, and pretty much anything with an engine and is a cool dude.
He is currently tattooing at little vinnies west side, in baltimore.
Go get a tattoo and then buy the shirt with his art work on it here...

Casa del Mario

Read St. Tattoo

Hung out @ read St. Today with jeff, Charlie, and alex. No new work
for me just enjoying the nice weather. Supposed to be in the high 70'S
tomorrow!!!!!!!!! Charging my batteries and gassing up my bikes!

Oh so Baltimore...

Random junkie-esq dude passed out outside my garage inthe middle of
the day. I don't know what's up with his head, it looks like he had
brain surgery or something. He is missing a perfectly round spot of
hair on the top of his head.!?
